Yes! However, ACs draw a lot of power. We will need to design a high-capacity system (e.g., 5kW or more) with a larger battery bank to support it.
Do I get a government subsidy for Off-Grid?
Currently, PM Surya Ghar and state subsidies are strictly for On-Grid (Net-metering) systems. Off-grid systems are generally not covered under these residential subsidies.
Which battery is better: Tubular or Lithium?
Tubular batteries are cost-effective and good for heavy loads but need basic maintenance (water top-up). Lithium batteries are expensive but zero-maintenance, charge faster, and last much longer (10-15 years).
